After quite a lot of careful planning, our shoot day finally arrived last Sunday. Using the Vintage Styler ethos 'relaxed glamour' to theme the shoot, we were so pleased with the results. Our model Georgina looked stunning in 'Cadillac' by Ian Stuart, a ballerina length, silk lace dress finished with subtle sparkling sequins and a beautiful V shaped back and neckline, kindly on loan to us from the lovely Shirley at Cloud 9 Bridal at the Wedding House in Liverpool. We began early in the morning with hair and makeup, styled in a natural, glamorous look for a relaxed and effortless looking bridal style, with smooth loose curls and a vintage inspired makeup look finished with full false lashes for added drama. The hair was later put up into a high bun, but keeping the curls in to allow a messy 'undone' look. Our shoot took place at the Leverhulme hotel in Port Sunlight on the Wirral, chosen for it's absolutely stunning art deco interior, the ideal backdrop for a VS bride - glamorous, vintage and elegant. Cheshire wedding photographers Jamie and Tory from Vickerstaff photography were fantastic, and took countless pictures for hours! We hope to share our pro pictures with you all as soon as possible, but for now here are a few sneak peek pictures from behind the scenes! Enjoy!
