How to wear hair pieces with feathers

With autumn looming, now's the perfect time to start thinking about your winter wedding accessories. Although summer is still seen as wedding season, we have noticed an increase in winter brides at Vintage Styler over the years and we can't blame them! We love the idea of cosy country house venues with roaring fires, mulled wine, thousands of fairy lights, candles, warming comfort food and of course the perfect opportunity to indulge in extra sparkle! After all, you can't guarantee the weather in summer so why not just go for winter and plan for the cold! image source We often hear brides asking what sort of accessories to wear for winter weddings. Traditional tiaras and sparkling side tiaras are classic pieces which look fab all year round, but summery fabric flowers clips just don't seem to fit for winter. If you're not one for tiaras, wedding hair pieces with feather accents are absolutely perfect for brides after something both vintage and on-trend. Matched with a faux fur or marabou wrap, feather headpieces look ideally fitting for winter. Top tip Remember that feathers can split and damage easily so take extra care of your feather hair pieces during the lead up to your big day. Make sure that your hairdresser is very careful with it at your hair trial and keep it clear of hairspray and of course makeup. Ava feather headpiece.
